Boost Levels:

1. Normal : Boosting achieved via stopping 3rd party apps that consumes high percentage of RAM.

Exceptions: Whitelist apps, All System apps, 3rd party apps consuming low RAM.

2. Strong: Boosting achieved via stopping all 3rd party apps.

Exceptions: Whitelist apps, All System apps.

3. eXtreme: Boosting achieved via stopping all 3rd party apps and stoppable system apps that consumes high percentage of RAM.

Killing a launcher may reload your Home Screen, This is not an issue but can make your device comparatively more responsive.
