Twyp

Twyp is an app (very lovingly) created by ING to make paying that much easier for everyone. We say everyone because you can use it if you are already 14 years old and also because, it doesn’t matter who you bank with (or even if you have no bank). It is of course free of charge and there are no commissions.

WHAT CAN YOU DO WITH TWYP?

You can SEND AND REQUEST MONEY from your friends, family… instantly! So, it is perfect, as well as many other things, to send money from parents to children from mobile to mobile.

PAY IN ANY STORE which accepts contactless payments (nearly all) thanks to your Twyp virtual pre-pay card which you can add to Google Pay. Also, your purchases online, on videogames, on apps… If you are already 14 years old, this card is also for you even if you do not use a bank ;)

Twyp is the only app you can WITHDRAW MONEY WITH WHEN YOU SHOP IN STORES. In fact, there are thousands of Twyp stores all over Spain in which you can save time and commissions. Find your nearest store in the “Cash” section.

Also, when you pay with Twyp you can benefit from DISCOUNTS AND EXCLUSIVE PROMOTIONS in which you can save money.

About the Twyp card:

To use the Twyp pre-pay card, the user (or their legal guardian in the case of minors between 14 – 17 years old), has to accept the terms and conditions of the app. You may not exceed the limits established by Twyp in your purchases.

On limitations of use:

If you are already a customer of ING, there is no annual limit on your transactions in Twyp stores and you may send and receive money up to an annual limit of 5000 €. If you are not an ING customer, the limit of your Twyp transactions is 999 € per calendar year.

On withdrawing money:

When you shop in any of the thousands of Twyp stores, you can also withdraw money in them with no commission (from 20 € up to a maximum of 150 €). Remember: there is no minimum amount for your purchases, and you can identify the Twyp stores in the app or by the badges you will see in each establishment.
